These are some of the few words that describe the pillars out Executive Board of the Undergraduate Economics Society upholds on a year-to-year basis, dating back to our roots in 2014. Our leaders come from a diverse range of backgrounds and experience, but all play a crucial role in maintaining our relationship with the Department of Economics as a whole. From having appointments for undergraduates on the Department of Economics Advisory Board, to being friendly faces to Buckeyes & economic enthusiasts across the globe, every leader in UES plays a crucial role in shaping our brand.

Our Roles (est. 2023):
President: Oversees all functions of UES, maintains faculty partnerships, guides decisions
Vice President: Advises the directors, handles documentation, fulfills President's duties as needed Treasurer: Maintains endowments, spearheads fundraising and fiscal decisions with President Secretary: Facilitates meeting agenda, maintains UES newsletter, mediates internal discussion Director of Marketing: Spearheads social media, merchandise, and advertising measures Director of Member Relations: Leads recruitment and retention efforts, maintains organization morale Director of Outreach & Engagement: Connects with businesses, faculty, etc. and maintains said relationships Director of Project Management: Designs & leads semesterly UES projects; connects members to research Department of Economics Advisory Board Representative: Member of UES chosen to serve on the advisory board by the executive team. Can be any person in the organization. |
