Bethany Cady

Bethany Cady is from Powell, OH and a Senior Economics Major with minors in Math and City and Regional Planning. At Ohio State, she is in the Women's Glee Club, Omicron Delta Epsilon and Undergraduate Economics Society. She is also the Lead Tutor and Lab Manager for the Economics Department and working on her Senior Honors Thesis. After she graduates, she hope to go to graduate school for economics and eventually become a professor and do research.

Matt Rohozen

Matt is a proud OSU graduate with a degree in Economics with a minor in Business on the CFP track. In the future he hopes to pursue a career as a financial advisor. Matt’s interests are in macroeconomics, monetary economics, and economic development. Some of his favorite pastimes include binge watching TV and movies, playing cards, and spending time with his German Shepherd Dog, named Venus.

Jocelyn Chen

Jocelyn is a second year majoring in Business Administration with a specialization in Economics and Accounting. She is almost nearing two years as an assistant at The Ohio State University Office of Compliance and Integrity. In the future she hopes to attend graduate school and follow with a career in policy analysis. Her hobbies include hiking, celebrating Christmas year round, and squirrel watching.

Maneesh is a sophomore majoring in economics and finance in the Fisher school of business. He is currently also in the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. In the future, he hopes to work for an investment firm and pursue an MBA. Some of his favorite pastimes include watching netflix and playing volleyball.

Varuni Sureddy is a second year majoring in Economics. She is inspired by Amartya Sen’s contributions to welfare economics and is motivated to inculcate ethical philosophy into her studies here at Ohio State. She is currently a research assistant to Dr. Joyce Chen for a project in tackling vulnerability of coastal population due to climate change in Bangladesh.
As an avid painter, she is organizing her own art exhibition in Summer 2017 in collaboration with underrepresented artists from a village called Raghurajpur, India; her small attempt in tackling the socio-economic barriers of talented rural artists of India.
